Ancient at Birth disbands
Due to personal and musical differences Ancient at Birth has decided it would be best to part ways. We've had a lot of fun over the last three years but it is time now to end what we all worked so hard on. We'd like to thank all the bands we've played with and especially the people who came out to all our shows and supported us.

Ancient at Birth confirmed for Tidalwave 11
Ancient At Birth has been confirmed to join the line up with Exodus and 12 other bands for this years Tidalwave festival in San Francisco. The FREE two day event will be held on the 5th and 6th of June at the John Mclaren Park Amphitheater. For more information you can check out Tidalwaves myspace or visit their official website at www.thetidalwave.org. It has not yet been confirmed which of the two days Ancient at Birth Will be playing, so check back for updates.

Ancient at Birth is set to appear on The North Bay Underground on 101.7 The Fox tonight at 7:00pm! Make sure to tune in and show your support!

We had a great time. It was good to be back playing shows after such a long break.

Welcome to Ancient at Birth's new Official Website!
Although there are still some modifications to be done (such as an updated picture page), I felt it was necessary to get the new site up before their triumphant return!
The updated picture page will be done in flash, so if you don't have the plug-in, get it. I will however, have an html version posted as well (just like the rest of the site). There will also be an all new media page which I am working on with banners, a flash player, and their videos (which may only be links to save on the page load time).
Enjoy the new site, and don't forget to catch Ancient at Birth's upcoming shows on the 4th, 12th, and 25th of April!

Some unfortunate news about our next 3 shows....
We have had to cancel our next 3 shows,

because our guitarist Kurt unfortunately broke his hand yesterday and will be out of commission for the next several weeks.
But do not fret, A@B will take this time to tighten a few screws as we enter this new year, sharpen our blades, and take back to the stage as a ravenous beast half maddened by bloodlust wallowing in a pit of carnal wantonness all for your personal entertainment!!!!!
But please, still make it out to these shows, support our friends and fellow bands, they all have some great music to be heard!!!! We'll see ya there, and you will see us play again soon!!!

Make sure to leave some nice comments for Kurt, show him some love, a guitarist without his guitar is not a pretty sight! We all hope he heals quickly not just for the band, but mainly for his peace of mind!!!

Ancient at Birth will taking about two months off from playing shows to work on new music.
June 20th at the Last Day Saloon may be your last chance to see them in a while,
